About the Author

Chris Forhan is a poet, memoirist, and essayist. He is also the author of the memoir My Father Before Me, as well as three books of poetry. He's the winner of the Barrow Street Prize, the Morse Poetry Prize, the Bakeless Prize, and the Washington State Book Award. He has won a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship and three Pushcart Prizes. He lives in Indianapolis, where he teaches at Butler University.
